YOU ARE WORTHY!

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS:
God demonstrates his love for us not only through His words but through his actions; holding our hand as we walk through life.
As long as we are holding on tight, he will not let us fall!
Unfortunately, we are humans and full of sin so there are times we become disobedient and our grip loosens. And in those moments, we fall.
If you find that you are trying to stand after a fall, know that the fall is not a sign that God does not love you.
But instead, ask yourself if you let the grip loosen too much?
“The Lord will fight for you; you only need to be still.”- Exodus 14:14
“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”- Luke 12:6-7
“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you. He will never leave or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”- Deuteronomy 31:8
According to the dictionary, synonyms for worthy are valuable, admirable, precious, and worthwhile.
Do you see yourself in this light?
Do you understand how valuable you are in God’s eyes?
Since becoming a parent, I have often wondered how painful it is for God to see me experience negative feelings.
In those moments where I fall weak, where I let the darkness in: begin to doubt our worthiness, fighting that feeling of never enoughness.
I know that it would sadden me to know one of my children was experiencing these feelings, even if it was just a hiccup on a bad day!
I would do anything I could to make my children feel better; to help them see themselves the way I see them.
And God does the same thing for you.
He gives us these encouraging bible verses to remind us just how worthy we are.
After all, how could you be unworthy when you have the highest power of all fighting for you?
Promises of being fought for, never abandoned, and labeled as valuable.
Seems to me that unworthy is the exact opposite of how God sees you, so take peace knowing that you ARE worthy.
