Hebrews 13:14 WE ARE IN THIS WORLD, BUT WE ARE NOT FOR IN THIS WORLD

What is Hebrews 13:14 mean?

This section has contrasted the spot of Jesus' execution with the manner in which conciliatory creatures were discarded under the old agreement. An extra creature substance was singed outside the camp of Israel (Exodus 29:14). Jesus' execution was performed outside the city dividers of Jerusalem (John 19:17–20). In one sense, this proceeds with the manner by which old pledge customs were intended to foretell the service of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 8:5–6). Simultaneously, this advises us that Jesus is being disregarded by an unbelieving world. Prior, perusers were urged to suffer difficulty and oppression, realizing that Christ felt very similar things (Hebrews 12:2). At the point when the world sees enough of Christ in a devotee, it oppresses that Christian a similar way Jesus was abused (John 15:18–21). As opposed to fearing that, devotees should celebrate in realizing they're being related to their friend in need (1 Peter 4:14).
Here, the essayist echoes another point made before in the letter. Legends of the confidence, for example, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob confided in God. A significant part of this trust was their comprehension of time everlasting. As opposed to seeing everything in a transient manner, those people realized that God's definitive designs for them were interminable. Rather than looking for a natural home, they perceived themselves as pioneers on earth (Hebrews 11:13). This refrain rehashes that point: for the Christian, everything on earth is transitory—including languishing. This isn't our home (Hebrews 11:16).
